My name is Amara Kohlert and I am a third year Arts student pursing a degree in Psychology. I am very passionate about my studies, and I am looking forward to being able to apply my education after graduation by helping people. As a student ambassador, I strive to get involved on campus as much as possible through volunteering. Outside of school, I work part-time as a server and play on a recreational volleyball team. When I have time to myself, I enjoy channeling my energy into creativity through journaling, painting, and crafting.
As a volunteer within the lab, I take on whatever roles required to help make the researchers’ lives a little bit easier!
My name is Marriem and I am currently completing the final year of my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at the University of Regina. I am interested in mental health and researching how different factors and interventions can play a role in the aging process. I hope to further my studies by pursuing a graduate degree in public health/counselling. In my free time, I love to play board games, spend time with my cat, read and do anything that allows me to feel active.
My name is Venezya Thorsteinson and I am a second year undergraduate Arts student pursuing a Psychology major through the University of Regina. As a volunteer at the Aging, Residents, and Caregivers Research Unit I assist anywhere I am needed. In my future education I plan on pursuing graduate studies.
Outside of school, I work part-time in retail and I am the VP of the U of R’s Champions of Change Club. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and reading a good book!
