Emma Taylor
Emma was an Honours Student in the Aging, Residents, and Caregivers Research Unit from 2020-21. She collected data for her project by asking Saskatchewan residents to complete a set of online questionnaires on early adversity, psychological resilience, attachment, and personality traits. She examined the role of psychological resilience and attachment in influencing the relationship between the experience of adverse childhood experiences and the presence of personality traits such as narcissism, psychopathy, and Machiavellianism.


Maria Garcia F. Vargas
Maria was an Honours Student in the Aging, Residents, and Caregivers Research Unit from 2020-21. She collected data for her project by asking older adults living in Saskatchewan to complete a set of questionnaires on adversity, psychological resilience, perceived social support, and self-rated health. She examined the role of psychological resilience and perceived social support in influencing the relationship between the experience of adverse childhood experiences and self-rated health among older adults.
